SERENE SKY
Vancouver’s Shaky Snakes teams up with Pullman’s Andreanna for “Yr in the Sky”, a devastatingly dreamy serenade made under the conditions of heavy rain and snow. If you’re living in Pullman, in Vancouver like us, or wherever else with a relatively cold and wet weather system, somehow listening to this beautiful track makes the tumultuous weather seem serene, comforting, and even more beautiful. It most likely has something to do with the heavenly nature of the duet and the dreamy soundscapes that ring like a soothing nighttime lullaby. You can grab this gorgeous new track down below or via Soundcloud. Go on, bring on more of that rain and snow.

Shaky Snakes — “yr in the sky (feat. Andreanna)”
Slipping off at night while echoing vowels & sand-filled percussion lead the way; this is exit music for our exit scene, but first we’ve got to squeeze every last second out of this play and it’s just oh so good that we might just play it one more time. No, that’s definitely not what we said 3 minutes & 52 seconds ago.
Everything is about as dreamy as it gets here. Andreanna makes her vocal appearance with Shaky Snakes and for some universally constant reason, this makes sense. The two sets of vocals make this one complete and I’m not sure if I’d dig this track any other way, well probably so, but I like the way this is and I’d love to hear a bit more from these two.
